These terms apply when you use Hoot Hop (“the App”), published by Hiva Tech Studio (“we”, “us”). By installing or playing the App you agree to them. If you do not agree, please uninstall the App.
The App is free and available to everyone. If you are under the age at which you can agree to terms on your own where you live, a parent or guardian should read these terms and agree to them on your behalf. The App asks once for a birth year in order to decide how ads are requested — see the Privacy Policy.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and play the App on devices you control, for your own non-commercial use. You may not sell, rent, or redistribute the App; modify, decompile, or reverse-engineer it except where the law expressly permits; or use it in a way that breaks any applicable law.
Stars, unlocked owl friends, badges, and streaks exist only inside the App. They are not property, have no monetary value, cannot be exchanged for money or transferred to anyone else, and cannot be bought. They are stored on your device: clearing the App’s data, uninstalling it, or losing the device will lose them, and we cannot restore them. We may change how items are earned or what they do in any update.
The App is free and supported by ads served through Google AdMob. Reward videos are always optional — you choose to start one, and declining never blocks you from playing or retrying. We do not control which specific ads Google serves. If you see an ad you believe is inappropriate, please tell us and we will report it.
Submitting a score means it may be shown publicly inside the App alongside other players’ scores. Do not attempt to submit scores you did not earn in normal play, including by modifying the App or sending requests to our servers directly. We may remove any score, and block an identifier from submitting further scores, where we reasonably believe this has happened. There is no free-text name field, so there is nothing to moderate beyond the scores themselves.
We may update, suspend, or discontinue the App or its online features — the leaderboard, player counts, and remote settings — at any time. The App can display a maintenance notice or require an update before play continues. We do not promise the App will always be available or uninterrupted, and online features may stop working on older versions.
The App is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. We do not warrant that it will be free of bugs or that it will run on every device.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for lost progress, lost in-game items, or lost data, arising from your use of the App. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
The App is distributed through Google Play and uses Google AdMob. Your use of those services is also governed by Google’s terms, which we do not control.
We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed, and continuing to use the App after a change means you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India will have jurisdiction over any dispute, except where the law of your country of residence gives you the right to bring a claim locally.
